Hello GMC'rs, I am selling my 1973 GMC Motorhome ("Painted Desert").
It is listed on SF Bay area craigslist. Entire drive line is new-
Radiator, Motor, Tranny, Exhaust. Also new 4 Bag air-ride system and
6 wheel disc brakes. Has Howell TBI fuel injection system w/computer.
New 6 Wheel Alcoas (minor damage from Golden Gate bridge scrap on 2
rear) and 6 new Michellin tires. Major work done by JimK in Fremont
and I have all reciepts, appraised by Jim at $28,000. This RV has
towing set up with thru bumper hitch. This climbs mountains at 50mph
towing trailer

I have spent over $25,000 in new equipment and am asking $15,000. I
will not give this away, but will listen to reasonable offers. This
RV is ready to drive across country.

Interior needs work for cosmetics,
Stove works, Propane tank good. Geni - unknown, Plumbing - unknown.

If you are looking for a coach that is mechanically solid with all the
power you need this is it.
I can take pictures and provide them for interested parties.

The reason I am thinking of selling - the RV is too big for my needs.

Dave (and others),

I have questions about your question.

When you say 'the Net' are you meaning this GMC forum?

Also, is it a problem posting 'for sale' info here?

Maybe you meant something completely different; not sure.

Thanks

It is not a problem posting here (as far as I am concerned) but it
appeared the question came to the Net (I don't use the Forum) directly
from a CraigsList customer. I was curious as to how that worked?

It seems AMRA asked "Could you please send some pictures of your coach."
referring to the subject. I presumed he was addressing the CraigsList
advertiser.

Perhaps I misread it.
