Most find the v2 kit works on several different wheels and it is easy to adapt to just about any GMC wheel. Unfortunately, I just can't make the kits in my studio as the metal shards from all that cutting and drilling raises hell with the water based finishes on my furniture pieces. One tiny metal flake under a water based finish can ruin a several thousand dollar piece - just not worth it. I am looking for someone to take over production so contact me off line if you are interested.

On my web site are instructions for how to build a kit yourself. All you need is standoff plates that attache to and are co-planar with the wheel, a laser level, an angle meter, thin turn plates (so you can drive on without jacking up the coach), a couple of laser targets that attach to the frame rails and you are all set. The key is to get the front wheels frame parallel when the steering box is properly centered. If you are parked on turn plates that is easy to do by counting turns lock to lock to find close to real center on the box. The lasers will tell you whether you are frame parallel at that point or not. Works the same for both the front and the rear tires. Camber and caster can only be done properly with the coach at correct ride height rear and front and you have driven the coach several miles since the last time it was jacked up for any reason (slop and stiffness in 40 year old components will not allow the coach to reach normal ride height unless it is driv
en - don't even think you can bounce it up and down.......). Once at ride height you can measure camber directly with the digital angle finder on both front and rear tires. Caster is calculated from the change in camber when the front wheels are moved a known number of degrees in each direction.

Strings can be made to sorta work, but not very well and not very repeatable. A properly calibrated laser doesn't lie and is dead on repeatable.

IIRC, he did make kits that would work on both. Maybe he will chime in.
