I did and I didn't. I used Sta-Lube grease (the same tube markings) from another supplier (HF wasn't open then) and two of three bearings leaked lube and/or failed in service.

Syn-power was difficult to get and much more expensive at that time.

I'll spend the money on the expensive grease.
