G'day,
I sent an email to the guy that is selling this transmission: http://seattle.craigslist.org/see/pts/4252698480.html to find out
exactly what they were; turns out he has two of them, see below:
Hi Rob,
1 of them has 10 bolts & the plate reads 69 OJ 11012. And the other has 10 bolts, I think, it's kind of hidden and the plate reads
69 OJ 2812
They are both 1969 standard transmissions; not switch pitch and the final drives are 3.07 to 1.
Regards,
Rob M.

O means Oldsmobile, making it a Toronado (A means Cadillac IIRC, or is it GMC???). Every Toronado TH425 I've ever run across had a J after the O like in your ad. I do know the 1970 Toronado GT had a higher numerical ratio (might have been in the neighborhood of 3.31 or so), so the second letter was likely different.
I currently have a '70 Eldo trans and diff in my '73 as I got mine sans trans/diff. Recent rebuild, no issues yet.
