I am considering a 100 (or more) amp hour 12 volt lithium ion battery for the "house 12 volt" stuff. My reasons vary but cost is not one of them. Presently all of the house wiring has been replaced and there is no connection to the engine 12 volt system.
Has anybody any experience with LiFeP04 batteries, or any comments? I would appreciate them.

This was posted to the list back a bit, they have something like 480AH of
them.

And there are 12v 600w 9000btu air conditioners out there for cooling the
cabs of semis.

I think Boeing has a lot more experience with them than they would like.

The auto industry is using more and more of these batteries in sizes from huge to assist applications. They are starting to show up as salvage and they may be an interesting alternative for coach side batteries. However, you have to know what you're doing when it comes to charging, cooling, etc. But the time will come pretty soon !
