I use this in every engine I have including my generators, new cars, GMC, etc. I've been a fan of moly since the 60's but at that time it could get trapped in oil filters. New formulations are much finer.

Point of clarification, do you use this particular product or something else.

I've been using LiquiMoly ever since Bob first mentioned it several years
ago. Periodically -- nowhere near as religiously as Bob. Does it help?...
I've just been a fan of MS02 ever since, IIRC, 1954, when Ford began using
it in the grease of their first front ball joints -- SEALED! :-)
MS02 is the main reason I only use Valvoline Synpower grease -- and have no
more steering column CV binding.
Just don't get it on anything SHE cares about.

I ordered a case of 20 for JohnS and myself from Amazon, they're out of stock at the moment but I won't need it until I get back
there later this year.

I use the valvoline synthetic moly ONLY in places where I'm worried about heat like wheel bearings.
TSC has non-synthetic Moly grease fairly cheap. I still on a case I bought years ago.
Also Pep Boys has Valvoline synnpower at $5.50 per 1 pound can (not tubes). Check on their web site.

Rob,
Oh about 700$us, and I seriously considered buying a can and then looking for a company to put it in 1pint bottles or even acquiring the capability myself, but that is just more investment than I can put forward these days.
I passed off enough of the last buy to GMC people to almost make the operation feasible. It would be hard to do at this volume.
I still really wish that they were at all specific about the product, but they aren't - even on the German site you are buying a pig in a poke you just know it has some moly in it.

As far as moly grease goes I use. Molykote br2 plus grease. I've been using this on our machines for over 40 years. Everything I've used it on lasts longer than nay other grease we have used.
1977 Kingsley 455 as stock as it gets except lots of Ragusa parts
