Hello Everyone,
I am hoping to find some 16.5" tires, in the Sacramento area, with DOT of 6 years or less that someone is willing to give away.
However, I will not need the tires until spring 2014 or so.
I have a good friend in Tuolumne, CA who could meet you half way or pick them up for me.
I simply wanted to catch anyone in the Sacramento area with 16.5" tires, in time, before they might throw them out.
IF you do have some that you are willing to give away; please check the DOT and let me know, in a PM.
Again I'm looking for good/safe rubber, 6 years old or less, so I can drive a GMC back east?

Our 1970 Ultravan #520 has an Olds Toronado 455 in back.

Tony, I am not exactly near Sacramento, but in early 2014, I will be
switching my coach over to Eagle wheels and new tires in preparation for
the Route 66 rolling rally. It has 16" steel wheels, radial rated, powder
coated and are mounted with BF Goodrich T/A radial tires. They will be
available before May 2014. If you are interested in them, they will not be
free, but will be available at a fair price. The tires were new in 2009.
There are 7 tires and wheels, the spare has never been on the ground.
