More specificly , I replaced the tank sender and the remote panel (from Jim K). The read out said it was almost full.
I hadn't filled it since I bought it 96 but I hadn't used it much either durring the long "rebuild process". I started using
my new gas range and refrigirator and was really pleased untill...no gas.
That should have been no suprise after so long but the gauge still said near full. A clue that there was a problem, but I
had ignored, was that when the batteries were fully charged the gauge actually went up to full.
Now I have two problems, what is wrong with the gage and how will I test it after the repair with no propane. Of course I can wait till Spring when I can get down the mountain to refill the tank. We are snowed in and use studed tires all winter.
Well now you have something to smile about. I would appreciate any ideas about the gauge problem as opposed to my mental problem.
