Some of you may have seen my thread about possibly getting 2 GMC MHs.

The first GMC I found is a great candidate for parts, things I want and really need, once I get it home.
However, the second one I came across, while comparing what I was getting from the first coach for its price, is not great, but nicer, worth saving and not part out.

I have enough frequent flyer miles to fly out west twice.
If all goes well in spring 2014 I hope to fly out to CA and drive one GMC back home towing a rare boat.
Summer is my back up plan if spring time does not work out.
Late summer or fall is when I hope to go back out west to get second GMC.

At this time I believe, and I will check to be sure, that the rims on both coaches are 16.5” rims.

I only want to buy one set of tires to get both coaches home.
I will not need a new set of tires for the parts coach once I get it home.
I would be buying nicer rims at a later date when I can afford them; if the newer coach does have the odd 16.5” size.

My plan right now is to buy one set of 6 new tires either from Tire Rack or local in CA and have them installed on the coach I will be driving back home first.

My Question to the kind people of GMCnet – who have welcomed me thus far without a GMC:

Is there a way that I could get some members to help me get just the tires back across country one time to get the last coach home? (If I were to buy both coaches and one set of new 16.5 tires to get them both home.)

When: Summer 2014
From: Ogdensburg, NY to Sacramento, CA...

Thank you for your time and consideration!
Sincerely, Tony

Marie and I are blessed to have had a 2nd chance to buy our farm.
Still hoping and more importantly praying to be able to build a garage.
Our 1970 Ultravan #520 has an Olds Toronado 455 in back.
