Honda parts numbers for their remote control.
Remote panel 31610-ZB5-632
Remote wiring plugs. 06560-ZB5-100AH
The plugs are the connectors you need to connect the remote panel to the genset. You add your own needed length of wire. They are about $10 for the pair, ordered from your local Honda dealer. Apparently they are used in other Honda products.

I bought a used EV6010 last year when my old Onan finally bit the dust. I got it for $250 off the local online buy and sell site.
I found a guy who I consider the, 'go to,' guy on repairing and modifying Honda Generators. Paul is one heck of a nice fella and even spent about half an hour walking me through a troubleshooting process when the thing wouldn't keep running. His company is called Pinellas Power Products, in Pinellas Park FL [near Tampa].
From him I learned that his entire business is rebuilding and modifying Honda Generators. I bought a wireless remote starter system from him for about $100 less than the Honda system. It works great.
I usually leave the remote in the front console. From there, I can start or stop the genset from the drivers seat.
For all of you guys with the little suitcase generators, Paul also does extended run fuel tanks and remote starter systems for the little Eu1000 and 2000 series generators.
Here's his website: www.pinellaspowerproducts.com
He has a complete set of 'how-to' video's on YouTube on how to troubleshoot and then rebuild EV4010 and 6010 generators. They're amazing and i used them extensively in refurbing mine.
I highly recommend him for any of you that have or are contemplating a Honda. His parts pricing is competitive and he has just about every part there is for these gennies in stock. He also knows all the weak spots, like the weak 'O' rings and gaskets that plague the 6010 and has had better quality Victron gaskets custom made to solve these problems.
