Hi all,

I have a 3D printer on my desk now making some parts for my hot rod and the
GMC. This happens to be one that our company sells into schools (primarily
middle and lower grade high schools). If you would like to see some real
easy to use software for 3D printing go to www.cubify.com

Download their free 14 day trial software Cubify INVENT which is their 3D
software for making parts and then download Cubify SCULPT which is a 3D
modelling software almost like using clay to sculpt products. It also has a
free 14 day trial. We happen to use a different printer than the one Cubify
sells but both software programs generate .stl files which can run on any 3D
printer. I'm using ABS plastic and have made some pretty cool one off parts
for the hot rod primarily vent, vacuum fittings and some interior trim bits.
I'm limited by my 6" x 6" table size. Next I'm going to take a crack at
making the curved corners for the window trim as a couple of mine are
broken.

We have a partnership with Solid Concepts in San Diego to use all of their
videos and images in our curriculum. You might want to check them out for
additional info. A fascinating site www.solidconcepts.com

Thanks,

Gary, go for the window plastic pieces on the edge of the drivers side window and the passenger side window. I would be willing to purchase a good pair of those pieces.
