I'm starting to plan further adventures, and I'm wondering what Quartzite is like for a couple or three week stay over the winter. Is there a GMC contingent that regularly sets up camp? Anyone ever been outside of the big show dates?

I've only driven through Quartzite twice during a short trip to CA and back. It was during a rock/gem show and it was a total zoo at the gas station.

I guess when I'm asking is what would be the best time to go, where to stay, things to do and such. Thanks.

Richard
