I'm not sure it would work on our stock hubs
I have a GMC front bearing puller and installer you are welcome to use.
You pay for shipping out and back.
It weights about 10 pounds.
My ZIP is 91903

Thanks Howard. I don't need it right now, I just ran across this kit and wondered if anyone here had used it.

Howard,

I used the magnify feature of that ad to look at that kit as close as possible and I will stick my neck out and state it won't work
with the GMC front wheel bearings.

David,

Here's a link to Gene's website where there is a plethora of information on the front wheel bearings:

http://gmcmotorhome.info/list.html#front

There is a video showing Ken Thoma doing an R&R of a GMC front wheel bearings but I can't remember where it is.

Regards,
Rob M.

David,
Between looking at the magnified picture and reading the 1st several reviews, I think it would work for only part of the job. You need a way to get the spindle out of the knuckle, which this won't do. They don't fit very tight, (in fact, are often too loose) so it may just pull out, or a slide hammer with the adapter that goes on the lug nuts would work. This tool would potentially help remove the bearing outer races, but as mentioned, that is a relatively loose fit on our vehicles. The more difficult part is getting the inner part of the bearings off of the spindle. I may have missed it, but it doesn't look like this tool provides a way of doing that. A more GMC specific tool does that, or you could use a bearing splitter with a large puller assembly or a hydraulic press. But to make a long story short, I don't think it will get you all the way through the job.
