Hey all'
Finally sitting still for a few weeks here in Petaluma, CA. We will be 8 weeks out come Tuesday. We are having a great time, interesting driving the Pickle down US 1, but it never missed a beat. Still could use a little more mpg, but the gas prices have been kind to us. hope to get over to Jim K. at Applied this week for a visit. Maybe Dick Patterson's carb will do better then whatever I have done to the original one. Also considering some other adjustments. Speaking of the Pick an Pull special, got to experience the feeding frenzy in Chico Saturday. In moving all the vehicles around here at my daughter's, I had the misfortune of having the 83 FJ60 Land Cruiser get away from me on a hill when jumping it, needless to say the tree did not do the pristine fender and hood or a few other parts much good. Anyway a 6 hour drive to Chico to gather up the replacements was successful. Now a little clean up and paint and bolt them back on should get me back to ground zero. So plenty to do during our 3 weeks here. Check us out at masv50.blogspot.com

As that was one day of the 3 day "50% off anything pulled from the yard sale," I do expect it was a bit crazy. They are around here, I normally bring my own wheelbarrow on the half off sale days.

Too bad, due to my schedule, I couldn't make it this last weekend. At $2.50 each these are good days to pick up Lumina wiper arms. (Driver side only, normally 5 whole dollars each...) The correct vehicles are getting fewer in the yards, so the supply is getting slimmer all the time. Even if you do not need the updated arms yourself, JimK has paid for them in the past. Smile

I ride the bus 35 minutes twice a day.  So, I'd like to see Ken H or one of the other Fab Gurus run up a set of parallel wipers.  You could park them against the center rib of the wndshield, and if you offset the drive just a bit, you could get them to wrap partway around the sides.
