I just wanted to post my thanks to a couple of great GMC folks that went way out of their way for a stranger. I've been on numerous boards over the years but have never run across a nicer,more professional group than are here on this forum. Even when there is a difference of opinion, most everyone is civil and respectful of others ideas.
I just want to give everyone a big pat on the back.
My wife and I just returned from a trip to Loveland Co. where we met Bruce Hart and Larry Coldren, two of the nicest guys around. Larry had just offered a front frame section to me for an engine swap project I'm working on. He not only GAVE it to me but he and Bruce showed up at 7 AM to help me load it, all on very short notice. What can I say, it's hard to believe there are still people around that are so generous and helpful.

Hal, you are so right!
One of the factors in deciding to get a GMC was that there are parts available to maintain it and a support community to help me figure stuff out.
While doing some research and asking questions, the Black List was mentioned. I looked it up and as luck would have it Larry was nearby the coach I was interested in, so I emailed asking if he would take a look at it and give me an informed opinion of it's overall shape.
Larry said he would and ended up taking Bill Bramlet (?) along to inspect the coach. I'm told by the seller that those guys spent around 2-3 hours going over it and taking it for a drive. Pretty awesome considering I have never met either one of them.
So yeah, this is a great group of people and an amazing resource to be a part of.

The GMC is the world's only viable 'open source motorhome' and that's due to this community, its peripheral services like bdub/gene/etc., the blacklist, gmcphotos, the vendor network ....the list goes on. Beside being nice guys/gals, many here take on the role of stewardship rather than ownership.
