G’day,
I use the email system.
I sent the message below as a Reply through the email system to Robin’s post at the bottom.
I did not get a copy from the email system.
The copy below is from the Forum.
Questions:
1) Did those of you that use the email system get a copy?
2) Why didn’t I get a copy?
3) Quite frequently I’ll send in a response and not get a copy back yet find a copy in the Forum, can anyone tell me why that
happens?

Hi Rob
I received your message 7 hours ago.
Do you have more than one address registered on the list server?
I have two addresses listed, I normally get email from my Gmail account, if I reply with that account I do not get an email copy of
the reply even though it appears on the forum. If I use my regular account I get a copy right away.
If you have more than one account you could try sending from different accounts and see if that helps.

Laying under that GMC. For 2days at the coos bay rally. Fixing that rear spindle. That was spectacular !!!!

"Need to know" = good one! ;-)
For those of you wondering why it took two days to R&R a spindle the reason was that when the bearing failed it destroyed the inner
bearing race and getting off was a real battle. That was handled by the first group of guys to attack the problem. Once that was
done and it was noted that the surface the inner bearing race should ride on was destroyed which made it necessary to replace the
spindle the second group took over. Fortunately for GeneE, someone came up with a spare spindle, I'm not sure but I think it came
from KarenB or GordonS. With the help of ChuckG's (sure glad he was rescued from the logging trail his GPS had taken him to) spindle
removing tool we got the bad one out. From there on it was a piece of cake! ;-)
This kind of thing is what makes GMCer's unique, as Napoleon said; "rein impossible!" there's "nothing" we can't fix!
I heard via the grapevine that DianaE spent half the trip home hanging around the rear suspension listening for possible bearing
problems!
