I like the redundancy of two pumps. I had an electric pump quit once. That put us dead on the road. I like the idea of not needing the divert er tank valve with two pumps. Had one of those check out once. And that caused me a real problem in the middle of nowhere. As far as changing the in tank pumps. You don't have to drop the tank completely. Just remove the 3 tank bolts at the front. And just tilt the front down for access to the pumps. I want to put EFI in this winter. Be a great time to make the change. Thanks Emery.

Just carry one or four extra like Ken H.
O course it wouldn't hurt to carry him with you as well as he can change an in line fuel pump out in a couple Of minutes on the side of the road.

would this technique work for changing the fuel lines as well?
