Adam, look at some of the SOB motorhomes and travel trailers. Some of
them have a utility access door or power cord access door with a sort of
keyhole slot cut from bottom then up a few inches. They also have a
pivoting cover for that slot on the inside of the door. With the cover
out of the way, there is about a 1" slot for the power cord. With the
cord stowed inside, the cover pivots down and covers the hole. Should be
a way to do that for the GMC. I've thought about it a few times, but
never done it. It would also help keep the larger climbing critters out
of the coach. I think those darn mice can come in through a screw hole.
