Just thinking, when you go to the men's mall, looking for interesting stuff for the GMC ( improvements?). Be sure and grab as much of the connecting wire and plugs as possible. Generally, Pull-A-Part does not add for wire, but will charge you for it, if that is all you find.
Suggested plugs include the plug to the windshield motor that Ken uses in his wiper conversion, and if you are changing columns any time soon, grab the odd little connector under the steering column that looks like a 2prong spade. This is the male plug for the cruise control that is in the more modern stalk. You need to grab the female plug, only way you will ever make an easy connection to the electromotive cruise control.
Any additional plugs or connectors that you have found useful, please add to the list. Seriously thinking of grabbing as long a length of wiring harness, just for the wires. Much easier to figure out an added eletrical part if the wires are different colors.
