brian;

I've personally used a propane fridge down to about 10 Deg F with no issues. Liquid propane boils at -44 Deg F so even at 20 below, the cylinder with liquid propane in it will still have gas to provide to the fridge.

Now, the other question would be how well the refrigeration system powered by propane works in a cold environment. I know that up here in Canada, soda machines that sit outside often used to have a light bulb installed and put next to the compressor to keep it from freezing in winter.

On the other hand, if it's that cold, a hotel with a hot tub and a good bar will ensure that even if your food freezes solid, you won't care all that much!

Just my personal experience.

That's my experience. I switched to the compressor units.

I have never run my Norcold three way in 115 degree temps, but I HAVE run it anywhere from 105 to less than 40 degrees, and it has always worked perfectly well, within those ranges. When it is extremely hot out, I have had to turn the temp down a bit, but it would still freeze water bottles in the freezer.

I can't really speak to the performance at extreme cold temperatures though. The coldest camping we have done with this fridge as been down to about the mid 30s (for a short time overnight) and I haven't had any issues.
