I finally got around to posting pics of my water tank replacement. After years of repairing the original, I finally ordered a new one from Jim K. It fit perfectly and is an easy job. I did have to switch my sensors but that was easy as well.

Hello,
Sorry to revive this long dormant thread, but I have a few questions. I took the coach on its first trip this weekend and it preformed very well (pictures of the 'restoration' to come) except for the fresh water tank leaking everywhere. I want to take the tank out to repair it or replace it, but can't seem to figure out how to remove the couch from on top of it.
Also what material is the tank made from?

If the tank is original, it is PE (polyethylene)

Dan,
The seats will unbolt or unscrew from the plywood deck, look for a bolt head or large screw in the sliding track. Move the seat all the way forward and all the way back. You can then remove the plywood top of the seat deck. The water tank is made out of polyethene, the same stuff that milk bottles are extruded out of and sometimes can be repaired depending on what the damage is.
If you need a new tank you can get them here:

If you lift the lower cushion of the passenger side bench, you will see two screws that are horizontal that hold the frame of the entire seat to an aluminum extrusion. Remove those two screws and you can lift the entire seat out of the way. Then you will see a plywood cover with dozens of wood screws holding it down. Remove all of those and the tank will be staring you in the face. You will probably also see two nylon straps holding the tank down to the floor, I loosened the brackets at the floor to release the straps.
