Dan is on GMCnet almost every day and posts a few times a week. I exchange emails with him a couple times per week.

I try not to flood him with emails because I do not want to over burden him. It is a delicate balance of letting him know we support him while not becoming a burden.

He is up to fighting this problem and I believe he will have a good outcome when his treatment regimen is finished.

He has at least 3 things in his favor.
1. God. He has a strong faith.
2. Medicine. Technology has never been more advanced - and it's damned good!
3. Companionship. He is surrounded by his beautiful bride, family, close friends, and an international bunch of GMC lover-nut jobs who care about him.

Count me heavy in the third. I've been counted as heavy since grade school.

Dan will beat this.

Though Dan gets on the Net once in a while, from what I understand (via my
wife) the chemo seems to be working, he is tolerating the treatments OK
except for making him very tired.

I also understand that after the series of chemotherapy treatments in St.
Louis that there will be a reevaluation. The next phase, if there will be
one, would be radiation. Let's hope that can be avoided.

Teri also indicated that cards meant more than email. We all know there's
more effort in sending a card via the postal service than typing on a
keyboard and clicking "send."

Teri says some can get into the site and some can't. Maybe not all of you are paying the preacher on Sunday. Very Happy
If you are trying and can't get it, maybe email us your name and email address so Teri can try later.
Thanks for your concern.
We were in St. Louis for all day chemo and stuff yesterday. May feel side effects starting next two days so won't be able to defend myself. Hope I feel like attending Bible Study tonight. Trying to keep the preacher paid up front in case I am sick on Sunday. Very Happy
Life is good. Don't bring food to sick folk unless they ask for it.

Dan,

If how one lives his life is any measure, I think you are paid in full just now. It doesn't hurt, however, to have a balance on the account.
