Glad Teri and I got the old pink stuff loaded Sunday. Took us several days, with short bursts, but we got it done. This morning at 430 am I passed by the outside temperature reading, 20 degrees in Dexter. Ooh dang. A couple of these mornings could cause problems. If you live along the Mason/Dixon we hope you are winterized. Just saw down in the 20s tonight predicted for much of the southeast.

Yeah, it hit 30f last night so I went outside and opened the drain valves. It's supposed to go to 27f tonight and the wind is 20mph, so I'd better do a little more draining today --water heater and toilet supply, mostly.

get the propane topped off too, so in case you do decide you need to drive it, or want to do some work in it. you can warm it up.

going to warm up to 40 today. yesterday was 19 out. My GMC is parked out at the hunting property for me to have a warm bed to sleep in. Hoping for no snow to drive it home on Sunday, but the current forecast is talking about rain and snow showers. I knew I should of fixed my wipers.. rainx works great for rain, not as well for snow.

worst case, is i get a ride back, and retrieve it later.

another 25 years, and maybe I can go south for the winter in it.

Dan,

Not to rub it in. .....but after a lot of years I finally learned to winterize the coach by moving to Florida. It is a little too chilly today to take a dip in the pool (though it does have a solar heater).

Yup. I can't say we're going to move, but keep a coach permanently moored in the South or SWest? You betcha.

Had a few mornings in the low 20's here (7300ft). Day to day bouncing around 40s-60s during the day. Just too cold in the morning to ride the bike 28mi to work. 8^(
Have had the GMC winterized for about a month already. Boat engine torn down and the block/rotating assy going to the machine shop tomorrow so no worries on that! LOL

It was 12 degrees when I let the dog out this morning. Now at 11AM it is bright and sunny and 30. The 1" of snow on the ground is melting off. My daughter and I were going to go on the motorcycles today. We rescheduled it for Sunday when it is suppose to be in the high 60s.

You guys are getting some nice weather lately. I was in Indy visiting our sister plant (Von Duprin) a couple weeks ago and they had record setting rain the day we flew in.

I had to take an impromptu trip to Vermont to help my mother after caterac surgery. I'm staying in the coach because there is no room in her facility. I hadn't winterized yet so it was a good thing I was living in it. It got down to 15F. Supposed to be colder tonight.
It sure feels strange when the air inside is 70, but the walls and windows radiate so much cold. My nose was cold all night!

Have fun. We have lived in ours when temps were 12 degrees on more than one night. Froze my maserator but that was all. I would bump the thermostat way down when we went to bed. Teri slept close. Everything was good.
