I have research previous post on the forum regarding the operation of the
three position switch on the dome lights in the cockpit and still have
questions. One wire (orange) appears to be hot all of the time, thus
allowing the light to be switch on at anytime by placing the switch in the
up position(on my coach a 1976 El II). The middle position is off. Moving
the switch down (on my coach) does nothing. There is an addition wire to
the switch that is white.
Can anyone tell me the source of the voltage to that white wire?
I have read that it may be energized by the door switch or the head light
switch. Since my door switch is missing and so is the wire. Neither works
in my coach.
Can anyone tell me the color of the door switch wire and where it was run?
Thanks
