I want to thank you all for the kind words you have expressed on the passing of my wife Nita. The GMC MH community has meant a great deal to both of us and has been a life changing event, happily so! Many great trips together, so many wonderful friends, a thankyou for this experience seems so inadequate.

Our last GMCMI convention together was at DuQuoin,IL (for a total of 33) my thought at the time was this might well be our last together. Nita had been in a local nursing home since last December with dementia. She is at peace now.

Thank you for your friendship and love,
Bill

We were very saddened to hear of the loss of your beloved Nita.
She leaves a part of herself in all whom she met -- a wonderful legacy expressed
by her many friends in the GMC community.
You remain in our thoughts,
Cynthia & Dennis Sexton

Bill, Very sad to learn of Nita's passing, though we know she is in a better place. It is a journey many of us older members contemplate and all of us must take. Your family contributions to the GMC community are legendary and will never be forgotten or overlooked as we continue. Hopefully, you will continue to honor the GMC community with your presence at the "conventions" (rallies). I have an acute awareness this week of your loss as my wife is slightly ill and I have considered the change in my life should I be called upon to care for her, or, God forbid, lose her. Know that others in our community have suffered the loss of a loved one as you have and I encourage you to seek them out to help you in this season.
May the Lord's blessing and ours be upon you.
