I'll bet Byron Songer got some inspiration from Loewy's work along the way. The Google doodle is very well done today.

With the recent discussion about ugly coaches I'm convinced that a good paint scheme can turn ugly into palatable. Of course on our coaches it's just gilding the Lilly. Who doesn't like gilded lilies?

Loewy did some excellent design work.

Lowey did the Avanti over 50 years ago. That car today looks as grand as
she did then.
