I purchased a used Norcold fridge, how cold should it be?
I have it turned down all the way to see how cold I can get it.
It is fully exposed sitting on a pallet in my shop. And empty.
How cold should it get on propane?
How cold on AC?
Thanks,
Steve

Plugged in on AC, it should go down to near freezing, given enough time. Don't know about propane, should be near the same. The only change is the source of heat for the ammonia cycle refrigeration method. Only determent might be the lack of chimney effect to bring heat up the outside of the coil. Not sure this is significant.
You should get different temperatures at the bottom of the frig and the top until it stabilized.
