Stick I think you mean to say you are paying for 4G on all those devices. The iPad for example could be set up as a wifi hotspot IF you are near it. It depends on how you use your devices, but most like having 3/4G cell data on their phones so you don't have to mooch wifi at the Starbucks. See if you also have the best package from provider. Yes Wifi (and making websites work) would be great but painful learning curve topics

Short answer - No
This appears to be a device intended to add internet access to an iPad. It seems to come with a service that will allow UP TO 500M/month (1/2G). (AND, It does not say what it will cost if you exceed that.) It can apparently support some external devices as well, but since your iPhones all require data subscription, this would be of no value.
As you can make an iPhone be a WiFi hot spot to communicate with the iPad (I believe - I don't know iStuff), this could be little or no value to you.
About your last line.....
We could do that and a laptop navigators that seems to be needed. And, if you missed Byron's Apps in your pocket and since you have a(some) smart phone(s), you should go to Eastern States and read it. It was first presented about a year ago and already could use an update. (That was not supposed to be a hint to Byron, but if it is, that would be great as it was a great session the first time.) That is hardly Byron's fault, the app library for both iStuff and Android is growing so fast that it is amazing.

This device depends on a concept of wireless access for a community called
WiMax. Very few metropolitan areas "drank the coolaid" and bought into this
concept that was largely pushed by Motorola five or six years ago (maybe
longer).
That being said, it only works in specific areas of the country. Probably
nor more and 40 at best. If you lived near Atlanta you could use it there.
If you were in Nashville you could use it there. But, there's a lot of
territory between Nashville and Atlanta that isn't covered.
I didn't buy a cellular modem on my iPad. Instead, I tether from the iPhone
when necessary.
By the way, I did a wireless wanderers seminar at Montgomery. It covered the
different definitions of the term "wireless" and other dummy-like topics.
Time for an update.

May I suggest that you check Millenicom.com.
For $99.99 I bought a Novatel 4620LTE Jetpack 4G receiver which supports 10
WiFi users. With $49.99 enrollment + $15 shipping + $69.99 monthly, I get
20 GB per month. I believe that's approximately what Verizon charges
monthly for the same MiFi with 5 GB. And I'm using the Verizon network
with my Verizon-labelled Jetpack.
During my just-completed 5 month cross-country odyssey, I was very pleased
with the performance, which is comparable to my home DSL's. A couple of
times I was "scolded" for exceeding the 20GB limit (which cannot be
monitored easily), but there was no additional charge. For a $15
re-enrollment fee, I can suspend the service when it's not needed.
