Jim. What damage was done to Larry Forman's Ultra? And did he get it home?

Don't know the full extent of the damage, I believe the fire itself was contained in the engine compartment though there must've been additional damage from the smoke and the attempts to extinguish it.

Larry had been making plans to try to repair it and drive it home but finally decided instead to have it flatbedded (780 miles). It was still in Apache Junction as of four days ago.

Last I heard he was negotiating with the insurance who wants to total it out for a very low value. There are only around 20 UVs sold each year, and the majority of those are projects - so there is little value data for the adjuster to work with.

Best advertisement for an "Agreed Value" policy I've heard in a long time.
