This is really about vintage trailers, but there are some interesting shots of interiors. Goes to show, we are not the only ones who are into restoring the vintage RV.

George,

If you thought that, you have never been to a Tin Can Tourist rally. Not only are some of the restorations just amazing, but many come along with set dressing and props that make it all the more unbelievable.

Many are restored, and then never used to the purpose(?).

Dave Silva (hertfordnc) is into vintage trailers but for utility and actual camping, not glamping. He just picked up a solid Boles Aero for under $1k.

As for our vendors, I see it as a natural market extension for them. JimB fixed a newer Airstream a few months back and there was a Scamp or somesuch there until a week or so ago.

Over the years I've been to a number of rallies at CAMP DEARBORN located not far from my house. It's the home base for the Tin Can Tourist organization.

Here's some photos I took at a Great Lakers rally and mostly Tin Can Tourists rallies that were held there. Lots of vintage trailers and other RVs. They made my '76 Palm Beach look rather new in comparison:
