I looked at the picture 3 or 4 times (mainly looking at the drive train) before I noticed the GMC on the back.

Saw a very similiar vehicle several years ago in Virginia. It was a Ford F350 chassis with GMC body grafted on. Looked like a Class B on steroids. Vehicle was painted Dark Navy Blue with U.S. Navy vehicle marking in black paint. Color combination made Navy data very hard to read. Was being driven by two very fit men in civilian clothing.
I did not ask and they did not tell.

Yeah, kind of, the Ural did never run under 5 liters pr 10 km ( 4.7 mpg give or take a little), usually a bit more
