I like to flush mine every 2 years. One way that I use is I pull the lower hose off the water pump, and let it hang down. I don't pull it off of the radiator, as it's more apt to be damaged. Slip it back on, and fill with water. Start the engine,and let it run for about 3 min with heater on. I continue to repeat until the water come out clean. I like to pull the block drains during at least one of the cycles. Then put 3 gals of antifreeze in after the last drain. Then top off with water. Make sure you fill your overflow tank to the proper level with 50/50.
