I have a Vitrifrigo 8 cu. ft. unit I had bought for my boat before the boat was lost to a marina collapse. I will probably eventually replace the existing 3-way fridge in "Money Pit" that seems to blow the 5 Amp fuse on the control board.

This brand uses Danfoss compressors that draw about 4 Amps (when running) on 12VDC. When on AC "shorepower" they run on the 24VDC provided by an on-board AC-to-DC power supply. Boats have "house power" limitations similar to those of RVs.
