Hi All - I would like to put on an Astrovan/S-10 steering wheel. What needs to be done to adapt the horn button connection??

Thanks

Hi - the steering wheel splines match the splines on the column and the wheel mounts. The line connection for the horn is different. For lack of a better description, both leads are male connectors. I think it is easy enough to connect the two, I would like to find out what other folks have done to make up that connection.

Just cut the wire off and attach the crimp on a spade lug connector. That
makes it a direct replacement Les.

What Steve said. You might use your ohm meter before if that makes you more comfortable. Can't recall on the GMC but many buttons just throw a ground to the horn. My wheel was plug n play.
