G'day,
I'm out in sunny Coos Bay, Oregon (believe it or not) attending the THREE club GMC rally and I actually remembered to ask Manny
about trans fluids. He recommends Mobil 1 Synthetic in switch pitch transmissions because in the switch mode they produce a lot more
heat.
Dino trans fluid was fine for a "regular' transmission and while synthetic was OK too but it costs a hell of a lot more than dino
fluid and not necessary. Last time I bought some Mobil1 STF it was over $10 a quart!
