I have two moon roof windows in the top of my GMC over driver and passenger seat. The one over my wife's seat has started to leak around the outer edge. Inside I can not find any screws holding the trim ring on and before I bend or break something, i would be interested in info from anyone who might know how these are held in place. i would like to remove window, calk under the rim on the top of the roof and reinstall, but as old as they are, I would prefer to not break anything taking it apart. The inside ring mates with the window frame and the headliner. (front insert) Any suggestions?

Since this is an aftermarket item you need to post photos and look for any manufacturer's label or number. Then someone may know how to help.

Even after viewing your photos I don't know how best for you to proceed. If the inner ring is soft rubber it might fold back revealing the screws.
Or -- it might be best to just remove all the old caulk on the roof around the skylight and put a small bead of new caulk in-place.

I wonder if those "moon roof" windows might be opening hatches meant for boats. If so, they might be a Bomar product.

Thanks for the replies. I took advice of Dennis and cleaned all the caulk off and replaced it with new. This is temporary fix, but it works. The inner ring is aluminum and I assume must just snap on, but I did not want to bend it or damage as you can see this is a PO add on and I have no idea whose brand and as long as this has been done, it may no longer exist as replacement part even if I could find out who's brand.
