Heading out in the AM with a new to me unknown 77 Royale on a 570 mile run from Henderson,NV to Rio Rancho, NM. The coach has been in storage for the past 6 years here in NV but the tanks had been drained and oil squirted into the cylinders when it was parked.
It seems to run pretty well although the vacuum is a little low @ about 15" at idle. The trans shifts a little funny but I think (hope) it will be ok. It also seems to have a small exhaust leak, at least that's what it sounds like although I couldn't ID it completely. I put a set of good wheels/tires on it and a set of plugs and wires and an inline fuel filter. Shot a little grease in the rear pins and changed the oil. Hope to be ready for the trip. Wish us luck, thanks.
Hal
