I am still on my way home from Branson. On my way back, I stopped at my son's place near Louisville and spent 3 long days with him framing his basement "Man-cave" and fixing various things he waits for my visits to fix. On the way back to Michigan today I started looking for "free" places to dump since I've been in my GMC 5 nights since departing the Branson rally. Thank goodness for knowing how to take "Navy Showers".
Some how during my Google search (and I remembered Craig Lechowicz telling me he had camped there), I stumbled upon the campground that FMCA owns in Cincinnati. I called and was told to come on down, no reservations, first come first served. They have very clean, 15 full hookup sites and 6 electric only sites. All free, maximum of 2 days a month for FMCA members.
I am there now with WI-FI that works and full hookups. No cable TV however, which I can live without as it's WI-FI that works I'm after. Its a very, very nice alternative to Camp Wal-Mart where I've stayed for 2 nights this trip.
Why did I not know about this perk when I pass through Cincinnati 5-6 times a year in my GMC?
