Hey All
Just a note to say that all things are ship shape, but as we all know having an RV and particularly a GMC will always lead to adventure. Also as Martha says each drive is another test drive. Anyway should be heading west on or about the 9th of October. You can follow along, if you like, on Martha's new Blogsite. The first foray is up at http://masv50.blogspot.com/

So we will see what kind of a pickle we can get ourselves into in the 'Pickle'. Sweet or Dill, it should be an adventure. Potentially 10,000 miles over 6 months.

If you find yourselves in or around Tucson, I can provide lots of local information and a place to even park, with hook-ups.

The Saguaro Jetset will be having our first rally of the season from Nov 7 - 10, at the Triangle-T Ranch, in Dragoon, AZ:

http://www.gmcsj.com/wp-content/uploads/Dragoon-Rally-General-Flyer.pdf

If you happen to be in the area, please join us. Most of the full hookup and electric only spaces are already filled, but there is lots of dry camping available. We can accommodate you somehow. Very Happy

I'm on the Black List. Will be out of town from 10-1 through 10-14 though.

I'm on my way to Coos Bay. Will spend the night somewhere south of
Portland depending how far I get before I get tired. Sorry to say that
Diana won't be able to make it this trip, however, Pooh Bear and Bunky
will be with me but Boodie (who's in heat) will be staying with Diana.
See ya there...

Thanks all. Certainly will be on the lookout for other GMC enthusiasts. We will definitely be around Tucson and pass true Quartzite. May spend time in Patagonia and Bisbee as well.

Patagonia is a beautiful (very) small town. I'm not aware of an RV park right there in town, but there are a few camping areas near lakes in that area (Lake Pagonia State Park, and Parker Canyon Lake).

Bisbee has a cool little RV park right across the highway from the downtown area:

http://www.gmcmhphotos.com/photos/saguaro-jetset-rally-bisbee-az-april-2010/p34854-gmcsj-bisbee-rally-apr.html

Lots of other cool places to camp in Southern AZ.

Make sure you keep your eyes on this net as you travel. Always several gmc families in quartzsite during January. I hope to be there all month this coming year.
