I've put flexible copper in motor homes before. With flare fittings. It's quick, SAFE, and simple.

Same here Bob. Don't know why there'd be any trepidation on anyone's
part. I used those insulated clips to restrain the line every 8" to
eliminate vibration and abrasion. Very safe and that's how most RVs are
plumbed. Don't forget an isolation valve before the appliance.

Compression, and flare fittings both work well. But flare type couples deal better with vibration.
