We had a little problem with ice cream the first night. The schedule had to be changed by 15 minutes so folks could get to one of the Branson shows on time. The " word " was missed by a few. Couple that with a broken freezer which had several gallons of cream melting, and we had a recipe for disaster. Had to move that cream and do it fast. For those that missed that serving I promised them double bowls full on the 2 nd serving night. Everything worked out and no one left without plenty of very good ice cream. Kim did a great job picking the flavors. We finished it up at our last meal on Wednesday. We had great helpers serving the cream. Some of the most energetic folks Teri and I have seen since we have been doing this. Heard no complaints this time except for the unavoidable schedule change on the first night and those were few. The socializing is at a max during our ice cream socials. I often mingle and see people who have never met enjoying getting to know one another.
Just wanted y'all to have a report from your head ice cream guy.
Life is good at these gatherings.
