We wish you could be there, too, Byron! We will be thinking about you.

The weather patterns out over the ocean are constantly changing so the forecast is constantly changing as well. Last week it called for sunny and warm for most of the rally including the weekend. Now it has switched to rainy and windy for that weekend. Who know what it will be a week from now! I need everyone on the net to do an incantation for the weather gods to cook up a sunny and calm Saturday night. The BBQ, celebration event and live music are all planned for an outdoor event.

Daily photos, videos and live or near-live program feeds are planned so those of you who, like Byron, can't be there in person can still be with us in spirit.

Jerry,

Great description of the exciting event the groups have put together. I
anxiously await the souvenirs but do wish I were totally retired so I
could have been there. Something there is about regular work/pay that
keeps a fellow close to home.

Jerry, I've got a couple of e-z ups portable shelters, you want me to bring

I've worked in Coos Bay several times in the recent past. If you have the chance, have breakfast at The Sea Basket down at the marina. Great food and interesting people. Pour your own coffee (just make sure to offer refills to the other patrons). Then dinner at the Portside. Wish I could be there.
