I'm looking forward to getting the GMC Palm Beach from Johnny Bridges Sunday.
I have never thought twice about a GMC motorhome until I met Johnny. I'm amazed at how well they were built. I've read and studied about the GMC's but I have a lot more to learn. I'm sure ill be asking questions about bringing the Plam Beach back to life:).

Welcome to the cult. Be sure and ask Johnny about the Dixielanders Rally at Nocculla Falls Gadsden) in mid October. Even if you don't drive your coach, the info and contacts made at rallies is priceless.

Hey Frank, glad to see you here. We hope you get it ready and come to one of our semi annual conventions. We are in Branson this and next week where there are a 150 or so gathered. You will enjoy your GMC. Happy you two got together on the swap.

It gets the old girl back to going sooner - always a Good Thing.
And a bit of note here, Frank may be a newbie to GMCs, but a look at his other automotive projects is worthwhile - he does engines like Kerry does metalwork.
Now the downside - there's all of Saturday and Sunday to get the brake safe on the PB, and it looks to rain Saturday - we may slip the date a bit. >If< the bleeders open in the driver's side, >if< the old cylinders come off the pax side, we'll make it. Otherwise, a day o rtwo later.
It has been Construction City around here, I spent the week demo-ing cubicles and walls. Fortunately, next week is the contractor's turn to build walls and re-assemble cubicles, so I have evenings to play GMC if need be.

I'll keep ya posted. Don't wanna hit the numbered hiways with something that doesn't stop. If I get lucky I'll finish. Otherwise, next week is early home and free weekend :)
And, Murphy tore it up on 'Party Crowd' last night.

Thanks, I suspect from bringing it home the front brakes are OK. Rears... need bleeding at a minimum. I have a full set of cylinders if need be. If the fronts are a probvlem I let you know. The major problem now is it's rained all day - and still is. Can't do anything. But, we got another GMCer to hang with me and you and Zhookof if we can all figure a good day.
