I think I need new calipers. I have never replaced a caliper because it was weak... only when it got stuck on.

my brakes went south last weekend. just weak. pedal does not drop to floor, just does not seem like things "grab"

so today, I installed new master cylinder. and a set of the performace friction pads. my brake pads were getting thin.

I should of put in new calipers. but when I called around town, they all had to be ordered up, so i put everything back together.

I know I have everything bled well. I bench bled, and I have the hupy power bleeder. ran two quarts through the system. and I have good brake hoses, a 2.5 year old brake booster, and a 1.5 year old combo valve.

I believe the rear are adjusted properly. I do not notice any sign of any leaking wheel cylinders.

I am going to order up the calipers and hopefully get them friday to install saturday.

anybody else run into a weak caliper problem? I think that has to be it. It just seems like the front are not doing a whole lot. and I can skid a back tire if I put some foot power to it, but I cannot skid any fronts at all.(have not tried on dirt)
