You don't need a schematic drawing; you have the real deal right in front of you.
Just remove the old as you replace with the new.
You don't have to remove the tanks but you will have to lower the front of each tank in order to reach the vent and pickup tubes.
Cracked and leaking hoses alone will probably not prevent the engine from starting. You may have something else going on also.
You can verify this easily by using a short hose and an external gas can to pump from. Or just spraying a bit of brake cleaner or starting fluid into the carb while cranking.
