I found I have a coach that wont start!
I traced it to a fuel delivery problem, the rubber fuel lines back by the tanks are leaking!
Ill need to replace them, so does anyone have a diagram of the fuel line routing, rubber line locations, etc.?
How hard is it to drop the tank(s)?
Thanks for the help....
Steve
PS. Replaced the clutch fan, radiator hoses, belts and have most of the cabinets removed for headliner replacement. Man, this is a slow process....

Steve,
You don't need a schematic drawing; you have the real deal right in front of you.
Just remove the old as you replace with the new.
You don't have to remove the tanks but you will have to lower the front of each tank in order to reach the vent and pickup tubes.
Cracked and leaking hoses alone will probably not prevent the engine from starting. You may have something else going on also.
You can verify this easily by using a short hose and an external gas can to pump from. Or just spraying a bit of brake cleaner or starting fluid into the carb while cranking.

The engine will run with starting fluid and I pulled vacuum on the pump it had 20 psi. So I pressurized the tanks with air and found a leak. I tried to pull fuel through the lines with a vacuum pump and fuel wouldn't pull....
So the lines need to be replaced regardless because of the leaking.... I'm hoping the coach will start once that's done...
Fingers crossed....
Thanks...

Steve,
I did that job a few years ago (wrong - according to one of the "experts" here, but it has worked perfectly ever since). It's really not difficult. Here is an album I did on it, hope it helps:

took me two days to do my fuel lines. but I did not work that hard. I could of done it in one day easy.
most of the hard work is getting it jacked up, or on ramps, or off the ground so a person can get under there and get the tanks to drop down.
empty, they were bulky, but I did not think too heavy. I dropped them all by myself, on to my self, then over to the ground, then put them on a creeper to pull out from underneath.
I am a smaller person, so it was also easy for me to work under there, and get the lines in place on top of the tanks before I lifted them finally into their resting place.
just use penetrating oil, and be careful not to break the hanger bolts, if they are rusty.

Some great tips were given. I only add that getting the gas out befor you start this is a pain. Pumped and then drained loooots of gas. Put it I in tractors, etc.
Then after you drain it all, there will be about 400 gallons when you first tip one. Be prepared.
