I am going to have to sell my "project" 1978 Eleganza II due to family circumstances.
My biggest challenge, to be honest, is that it is a project. It is not usable and needs a lot of work.
- All original - no upgrades at all except a Suburban heater.
- Engine starts (not connected to tanks though) but needs work. A lot of work. Possibly a rebuild.
- Air bags work but eventually lose air (well, what else is new)
- Front end has an issue - possibly collapsed hexes.
On the plus side, I have an additional engine (that needs to be rebuilt) and a complete set of manuals. So that's that.
So basically this will need to be low-boyed out of my driveway by someone with more time and money than me. Or taken apart for parts.
What is the consensus on what I should be asking for this? It it even sellable?
Any advice/opinions would be most welcome...
Oh, and if anybody is in Southern California and wants to have a look, please let me know and I will be happy to show you. It is in the San Fernando Valley.
