We just filled our OEM propane tank for the first time since buying our 77 Kingsley. This morning we tested the range/oven and to our surprise it works. Both pilot lights stay lit and all three burners and oven seem to be just fine. Thinking of all the goodies we should be able to bake in the oven we just noticed the oven rack was missing. We checked the forum and online parts places and our model number seems to have expired - it's not listed. We have a Magic Chef model BT16GS-3ST-36. We have the manual that came with it but in the parts schematic there are no part numbers listed for the actual parts. On the page it lists the parts list no. as 50-90172 5/76.

The oven is 16 3/4 inches wide and 16 inches deep. I wouldn't think oven racks are all that different and just about any rack that would fit in that space would work.

If any one has had this dilemma and found a solution or anyone has some ideas we'd appreciate your input.

As always, this forum is great.

Thanks!

Mickey,

If you decide to drive to Mike's the weekend of the 28th, then you could roll into Camp Dearborn in Milford and look in the Tin Can Tourists. It will cost 6$. There is a good chance there may be a GMC there, but it won't be us. And, Paul and Joan Smith may be there. I don't know if he is planning on Branson, but if he isn't, he'll be there and you will know when you see the little GMC in the windshield of their SOB.

We'll be Arkansas or Tennessee on our way home from Branson.

Matt

Mike,

We'd be glad to take it off your hands. I'm heading to USPS tomorrow to see if they have a priority shipping box that it might fit into. Checking online it doesn't appear they do, but I'll check anyway. Another possibility would be to stick it between two sheets of cardboard, maybe a couple layers on top and bottom, kind of make a box, and ship it that way. If that's at all possible I'll pay the shipping and whatever else for your trouble. No hurry on the shipping so the less expensive the better if that's OK.

Thanks for the offer, we certain can put it to good use. If any of this works for you I can send you our address in a PM or you can send me a PM first. I can send you a check once you figure the amount if that would work for you. I'm pretty sure shipping would be cheaper than gas, you're 90+ miles from me.

Thanks Mike.
