We are putting break in miles on the Royale with a quick run down to Eureka, CA. While there we went to Costco for fuel and needed food items. Just inside the door was an interesting wheeled unit about the size of the medium sized inverter generators. It featured a 55ah battery, four fold out solar panels, a 1500 watt inverter, two 120vac multi-plugs (will accept most all commonly used male plugs) and several USB charging ports all in what appeared to be a nicely constructed cabinet. I did not pick it up so don't know what it weighs. May guess is Quartsite will be loaded with this this winter. Looks just right for low amp draw applications like satellite receivers, LCD tvs, stereo units, led lights, recharging phones, pads, computers, etc. looks like it would easily discharge and recharge 25ah a day with any kind of normal sunlight. With proper wiring you likely could run the furnace in a GMC all night long or power an efficient AC refer 24 x 7. Cost was around $600.
