A 39x24 foot blue tarp from Harbor Freight, combined with some bungees,

I've been informed off-list that the Cheap Blue Tarps can be somewhat
abrasive to paint jobs.:) So in the interest of full disclosure and in the
tradition of good lawyers everywhere, allow me some weasel words. :) If
your coach is nice and shiny, you might want to go with some sort of nice
soft plays-well-with-paint cover. If you can afford that kind of paint job,
you can afford a nice cover.
If you're like me (broke) and the paint is old and faded and bears the
battle scars of being collateral damage with anti-wasp chemical warfare, a
blue tarp might be fine. :)
Your mileage may vary, past performance does not guarantee future returns,
void where prohibited, yadda yadda yadda.

I picked up 2 ADCO 22'-24' AquaShed travel trailer covers at $193 on sale
each at Tacoma Camping World. They also have a new exterior design I like.

I've had two Adco covers on two coaches in Michigan. Neither lasted two years. They just seem to disintegrate. They were both covered by the two year warranty and no problem swapping out with Adco. I've elected to just seal the roof to include sealing the drip rails and have not installed either of the new covers. 22-24 travel trailer cover fits the 26 footer, just does not last in Michigan.

I agree. I quit buying tarps & vehicle covers to use for weatherproofing 10 years ago because they just look like they're shedding water but whatever you have under them knows better. Or the UV eats them up.
OTOH, I have tarps made by truck cover vendors (in Wilson, NC) that have lasted for over a decade in commercial use. But they are pricey and HEAVY.
For home use, the best I've found so far for small, tarp-like covers is pvc shower pan. It stiffens a bit, but I've had some out on the waterfront for 5+ years now and it's holding up fine. This is in a high wind, high-UV, high-humidity, salt-laden-air environment that will put a tinge of rust on 305 stainless in slightly under a year. It's usually available in 6' widths on a roll at big box building supply stores.
Though I haven't used it myself, pond liner is available in larger pieces.
If you want a sun shield fabric, Dupont bulkhead cloth is the toughest I've found. 12' width. The Dupont garden fabric is pretty good, too.

Clearly, where you live will determine the overall life span of your Adco cover. Here in southern B.C. I have had my cover for 5 years with no apparent deterioration.

We stock custom covers for GMC by ADDCO.
There are 2 materials used depending on local condition.
For sonny area they recommend the Sun Barlla material same as the ZipDee awning and the Tyvec material for the wet climate.
Since they are made to fit the GMC, they seem to last longer as there is less whipping of the material.

The problem I have always had with tarps is the railing at the rear creates a depression in the tarp. Make a nice pond over the rear area of the coach. For my 26 foot. I built a 2x4 wooden structure to hold a ridge pole. I added some PVC rafters to the ridge pole. I put a tarp over this. Now there are not any pockets to trap water, so it all runs off.
It works well on a coach that is stored, but I would not use it on a coach that gets used...

I forgot to mention we normally get 51" of rain annually. There's a reason that no one cites the results of weather-testing from our area. As the crow flies, my house is located 18 miles inland from the North Atlantic and 35 miles (across open water) from the windy site of the Wright Brothers test flights. As for UV, we're on the same latitude as southern Spain. So put something outside here and *poof* it's gone (or rotten).
